Chief Accounting Officer
The Accounting Officer is responsible for the day-to-day organisation, staffing and management of the academy trust.
Working closely with and supporting the Directors of the MAC, in growing the academy in line with the Diocesan strategy and timeline.
Holding the position of Accounting Officer, with clear lines of accountability for reporting to Directors and relevant outside agencies for financial probity and pupil outcomes in all schools in accordance with the Academies Financial Handbook.
Chairing and taking a lead role in all Head Teacher meetings.
Working and collaborating with all Headteachers to agree the agenda of Head Teacher meetings having at all times a clear focus on school improvement in the context of the Catholic mission of the MAC.
Meeting regularly with the School Improvement Partner within the MAC to validate the status of each school regarding performance and school improvement.
Preparing and delivering reports to the Board of Directors on all matters related to finance, pupil outcomes and the Catholic life of all academies in the MAC.
The Accounting Officer will lead by acting as a role model and behaving in accordance with the seven principles of public life.
